Jane Furse
Jane Furse is a small rural town in the Sekhukhune District Municipality in the Limpopo Province, South Africa. Jane Furse falls within the administrative boundaries of the Makhuduthamaga Local Municipality, and the town is the seat of the municipality. Jane Furse is surrounded by several villages such as Ga-Molepane, Ga-Moretsele, Madibong, Mamone, Marulaneng, Mokwete and Riverside. Some of the most significant landmarks in Jane Furse include Jane Furse Plaza, Jane Furse Memorial Hospital (the biggest public sector hospital in the Sekhukhune District) and St Mark's College. A new shopping centre, named Jane Furse Crossing, opened during the course of 2013 and is situated at the main four-way intersection in Jane Furse. == History ==
Jane Furse developed around the Jane Furse Memorial Hospital, which was founded by the Rt Revd Michael Furse, Bishop of Pretoria and is named after his daughter, who died at the age of 14.
